For Personal Injury Attorneys

Objective evidence your client's record may be missing.

Mild brain injuries are frequently invisible on conventional imaging. Cortivex Medical provides objective, neurologist-reviewed QEEG assessment — documented in a court-ready report, typically within 48 hours — so your client's record reflects what actually happened to them.

Fast scheduling: we can typically see your client with as little as 24 hours' notice — in our Dallas clinic or mobile across DFW and Houston.

The scale of the problem

TBI is common, serious, and routinely missed.

Months or longer

Most brain injuries after a crash are classified as “mild,” but the CDC is clear that the effects of a mild TBI can still be serious, and that the injury is frequently overlooked at the time it happens. When a brain injury goes undocumented, so does its real impact on your client's life — and that impact is exactly what the record should reflect.

The gap

Normal imaging doesn't mean no injury.

In mild TBI, conventional CT and MRI are frequently normal — only about 10% of CT scans and roughly 30% of MRI scans show abnormalities, and these scans are insensitive to diffuse axonal injury, the most common injury in mild TBI. Conventional MRI and CT are designed to image the brain's structure. QEEG is different by design: it measures the brain's electrical activity — its function — capturing objective data that structural imaging is not built to show. That functional data is then interpreted by a qualified physician.

What your firm gets

A clinical asset, packaged for your file.

01

Objective, quantified data

QEEG measures brain function and compares it against normative values — objective documentation, not subjective complaint.

02

Neurologist-reviewed, court-ready reports

A comprehensive report (≈30 pages) reviewed by a qualified neurologist and formatted for clinical and legal clarity.

03

Rapid turnaround

Typically delivered within 48 hours of the completed exam.

04

Coordinated, individualized care

When appropriate, we help direct and coordinate the patient's follow-up care, then package the records for your file — so you're not chasing providers.

05

Mobile convenience

In-clinic in Dallas or mobile to your client across DFW and Houston.

Why it helps your case

Documentation that holds up.

Objective, standardized assessment data — reviewed by a qualified physician — gives a brain-injury claim a foundation that's harder to dismiss as subjective. We focus on producing clear, defensible documentation. What it does for any individual case is up to the facts and to you.

When a brain injury is real but undocumented, its severity is invisible on paper. Objective, neurologist-reviewed assessment puts that severity on the record — where it belongs.

Quantified

Measured against normative reference data.

Physician-read

Reviewed by a qualified neurologist.

Defensible

Methods documented, sources cited.
